About Me
I was born in Sweetwater, Texas in 1973 and grew up between there and North Carolina. I graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1992 and went on to attend Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. After graduating from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, I went to work for Raytheon in Greenvile, Texas where I met my wife Sherrie.
After two years with Raytheon, I pursued my dream of being a game developer and moved to Austin, Texas to work for Acclaim Studios Austin. I worked on the All-Star Baseball franchise for over 3 years. The game was a critically acclaimed success.
I went on to work for Origin Systems who was owned by Electronic Arts. I worked for them for about a year on a next generation MMO that never made it to market. EA closed the Origin offices down in 2004.
After my stint in the Video Game Industry, and learning that it is not all it is cracked up to be, I sought to get back into the software application business and took a job with Navitaire. Navitaire specialized in the airline industry and I worked on operations research projects dealing with airline operations and disruption recovery.
It was in 2006 when an old friend enticed me back into the games industry to join him at Kings Isle Entertainment where I worked on a yet unannounced upcoming MMO title. I worked there for just over a year before deciding it was time for me to break out and do my own thing.
Over the years I had been doing web development in my spare time. I quickly discovered that there is a great demand for web services and began revenue generating activities in my spare time. When I left Kings Isle in 2007, it was to take the leap at running my own internet web services business.
I have always been dedicated to keeping on top of the latest technology and you’ll often find me pouring over the latest technical articles and books learning about new technologies, techniques and methods.
I thoroughly enjoy my family life and running my own business has blessed me with the opportunity to spend more time with my wife and daughter, while still earning a living doing what I enjoy. My pastimes away from my desk usually center around outdoors, be it sports, hunting, or traveling.
